Coach Justin Murch says farewell to Ice Dogs

While the Ice Dogs are excited for Justin and this new opportunity with a major junior A hockey team, we also know he will be a big loss and missed very much.

Justin has done so much for the organization over the past six years as well as volunteering his time with the American Special Hockey Association (ASHA) says Ice Dogs and ASHA president Mike Hickey. There is no replacing Justin as he has a very high level of expirence and dedication.  Justin will remain as a volunteer to ASHA as a assistant to special projects as his time allows.             

Justin new job will be in Hockey Operations with the Lewiston MAINEiacs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. We wish him well and know he will be a major asset to Lewiston.

Dear Ice Dogs:

At this time I would like to announce that I will be moving to the state of Maine to take a position with the Lewiston MAINEiacs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, effective August 1st.

It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know each and every one of you while being your coach and mentor. Each one of you has taught me so much about myself and the life we each live, it has come to define me as a person. Some of you I have been around for six plus years.

I hope to stay connected to the team and visit when I can. Have realized one of my dreams come true working for a prominent junior hockey team. I encourage you to continue working hard and reach for your dreams.
